Alaska Candidate & Election Guide

Federal and statewide candidates, elections, state political parties, news sites, and other resources — no frills, just what you need — curated by Politics1 publisher Ron Gunzburger.

Ron’s State of Play Analysis:
US Senator Dan Sullivan (R) is facing an incredibly competitive reelection challenge from ex-Congresswoman Mary Peltola (D). This is will be a top Dem national target race. The Republicans hold an advantage in the open, crowded gubernatorial race, particularly as Peltola opted to run for Senate instead of Governor. As for the congressional race, Dems seem to be backing independent Bill Hill in his run vs US Rep Nick Begich (R).
